Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- 1. ALCEU journal accepts original and unpublished works in the form of scientific articles, interviews, essays, reviews, and translations on a rolling basis (rolling submission). Submitted manuscripts must not be under simultaneous evaluation by any other journal; otherwise, the situation must be properly justified in the "Comments to the Editor" field;
- 2. Works must be written in Portuguese, Spanish, or English and signed by at least one author holding a PhD (doctorate), either as a sole author or in co-authorship with doctoral candidates, Master’s degree holders, or Master's students.

3. We provide a template for manuscript submission that authors should rigorously follow in preparing their files of at least 10 and no more than 20 pages. The submission must be sent in two separate files: one version with authorship and one version without authorship.
The anonymized version is mandatory to ensure the integrity of the double-blind peer review process. Please ensure that the following measures have been taken with regard to the text and file properties:.
The authors of the document must remove their names from the text, using the word “Author” and the year in references and footnotes instead of the authors' names, article title, etc.;

In Microsoft Office documents, the author's identification must also be removed from the file properties (see the Word program menu), starting with File in the main menu of the Word program (from Microsoft): File > Save as > Tools (or Options on Mac) > Security > Remove personal information from file properties when saving > Save.
The file format in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, or RTF is mandatory. - 4. It is mandatory to provide the institutional affiliation, academic degree, email address, and ORCID identifier for all authors.
- 5. A summary of no more than 150 words must be provided in the original language of the text, in addition to an abstract or resumen. It is also mandatory to list at least four keywords (or palabras clave).
- 6. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined below in Author Guidelines.

Authors agree to grant publishing rights to ALCEU as they submit an original contribution to the journal, by means of the Authorization to Publish duly completed and signed.
Authors are entirely responsible for ideas present in their articles, which they can reproduce and distribute freely through different means provided they reference ALCEU as the original source.
All works published in the ALCEU (ISSN 2175-7402) are under the Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Commercial 4.0 Internacional license.
Privacy Statement
Electronic addresses and other personal information of the authors are of restricted use for the academic proposal of ALCEU, and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
